One of Hitchcock’s only true comedies—albeit a dark one—THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY is about the mysterious and inconvenient appearance of the eponymous corpse, and the events that transpire as his friends and neighbors try to identify the cause of death and dispose of the body. Shirley MacLaine is wonderful in her feature-film debut, playing the alluring, estranged wife (and murder suspect) of the deceased. The film also stars John Forsythe and Edmund Gwenn, and is presented in a brand-new restoration.
