Fantasy Life

Matthew Shear writes, directs and stars in this comedy about an out of work thirty-something paralegal in New York, who starts babysitting his psychiatrist's (Judd Hirsch) three granddaughters. He begins to develop a romantic connection with their mother (Amanda Peet), a former actress whose career and marriage has stalled out. FANTASY LIFE features a remarkable comeback performance for Peet and a promising debut for Shear. Also with Alessandro Nivola and Bob Balaban.
