Told through the eyes of composer Antonio Salieri, AMADEUS is a tale of musical ambition, creative genius, and resentment. The musically disciplined Salieri grows up hearing of the child prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, but believes Mozart to be brash and undeserving of his talent when he finally meets the genius composer. Salieri's jealousy continues to grow as the two find themselves drawn into a creative rivalry. This biographical drama boasts a lush classical score and was the winner of eight Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Presented in a brand new restoration.
