Colin Firth delivers an all-time great performance in his Oscar-nominated role as a grieving British professor after the death of his partner. A SINGLE MAN is a masterfully stylized portrait of a queer man living in 1960s Los Angeles. With stunning cinematography, this feature-length directorial effort from fashion designer Tom Ford is an impressive debut.
