LITTLE GIRL BLUE examines the meteoric rise and fall of one of the most iconic rock ‘n’ roll singers of all time: Janis Joplin. Joplin’s life story is revealed on film through electrifying archival footage, candid interviews with friends and family, and rare personal letters. The film presents an intimate portrait of a bright, complicated artist. Presented as a companion film to McCarter Theatre’s production of Randy Johnson’s “A Night with Janis Joplin,” which runs October 10 – 29.
